This is the only proof that Quilt day really happened. Annette said my gold Sperry's had inspired her to get these black patent and hounds tooth Sperry's! Her fun orange shoes have been my favorites all year!

October Activity days

The first week in October I helped the activity day girls make Halloween flower arrangements, the next time we went to the fire station. Soon all thier real leaders will be back in town!

Irena thought for a long time about what her Birthday wish should be...
Millie gave her the scarf she has on.
We have 3 more Birthday's coming up, I don't what Millie wants but we are going to the zoo for Chelsea's
and The chocolate for mine! Artie Party!

Wedding flowers Orange, Lime, dark Purple

Fun colors for the Kennison wedding. She wanted her bouquet to be "round but wild."

We were glad when they picked them up so we could get to the milk!

A funny story...

Last Sunday the boys came over to collect our Fast offering and I had the envelope all ready. They said I was the first one all day to be ready. Then Gary said "It's not ready, I want to put something else in there." We went in the kitchen and he said "I want to put something funny in there for when they open it." He said "How about a coupon?" I said "No, because Brother Duncan opens them and his wife already thinks I'm cheap." Well we ended up putting in a papa John's pizza coupon.
Monday night the doorbell rang and Cameron opened the door and I heard him start laughing. Brother Hill said "This is for your Dad. He gave us a coupon to buy pizza so we used it and thought you should get the left-overs." (It was a whole pizza not left-overs.) We were laughing so hard, maybe you had to be there... what kind of coupon should we put in there next month?!

Pumplin walk quilt shop hop

Marjean and I went to the pumpkin walk and found out we have the opposite taste.
She likes very traditional and I like modern.

 She liked this one above.

 I liked this one.

 We agreed on this one.

The back of it was great too!
