Sunny Saint George week-end

Alice and Laura and I spent the week-end in Saint George-Laura was in a triathlon at Sand Hollow.
The weather was perfect for athletes and spectators alike.
Writing the numbers on the first time.
Of course we had to do it again so they would last through church the next day!

 Alice and Laura
Those pink goggles helped us keep track of her.
Finished in three hours and 10 min.
This is what happens when you edit your picture on the card and not on the computer. Just imagine Alice and me relaxing in lawn chairs while Laura bikes and runs.

Midway quilt retreat!

We started out with some serious shopping.
Deb's 'Oh my Gosh" quilt-look at those little pieces!
Donna's basket quilt-looking at these two made us all want to start on a quilt with Happy Fabric!
Each of us made a happy chicken pin cushion out of the scraps.
Kristi and Teri (not pictured) came up for dinner on Friday.

How to make bowling akwardness more akward.

Last week Heather and Jake came down to have their car problems looked at. We went bowling. We all agreed that the long walk back after you roll the ball is very awkward so maybe bowling should be avoided on first dates! So we (and by we, I mean Heather) decided you had to strike a pose after your turn.

Heather's cute bowling shoes. On the bottom she has written useful information
like her scores, cost per use on the shoes, and ball speed!

HMQS quilt show (home machine quilters)

Cathy, Doris, Velda, and I went to the machine quilting show last Friday. Here is Cathy in front of her award winning quilt. She got Third place in the Riley Blake contest.

Very creative (and weird?)! This is just a section of a whole animal quilt named EIEIO.

We liked this quilt and when we read the card we found out that the Cramer's are related to the person who made the block Doris(pictured) remembers her (her Grand-daughter made them into this quilt.)

Prom week-end

Here is what I did Friday night.
Kids were supposed to pick them up by 10 am Saturday.
Maybe I'll start charging a late fee!
